- Description of the appellation :
- In days gone by, when planting vineyards, the stone which came out of the earth were pild up along side the vines and are called murgers or meurgers. There are less common nowadays but can still be found on this imposing hill side in Saint Aubin. This appellation is less renowned than Puligny and Meursault but the 1ers Crus are excellent. We own 0.17 Ha, the soil is pour and stony.
This vineyard is a recent purchase and was planted by my father in 1945. The orientation is due south.
